Through a HEF grant, Mrs. Candi Hibbitts was able to provide quiet, age-appropriate fidgets for her Riley Street Middle School special education students. Research shows that movement in children with ADHD helps them perform better on cognitively demanding tasks. Quiet fidgets allow for movement, while not distracting peers.
