Hudsonville Education Foundation Spring SOARée

Over the past two decades, the Hudsonville Education Foundation has invested hundreds of thousands of dollars into classrooms across the district by providing funding for resources that enhance academic opportunities. From essential learning tools, such as headphones and whiteboards, to modern technologies, such as responsive touchscreens and interactive baby simulators, HEF supports educators in creating dynamic and engaging learning environments for all learners.

Your donations support over 6,800 students across the district by providing teachers with grants to purchase educational items, invest in innovative learning and fund activities beyond the traditional school budget allowance.

This year's Spring SOARée goal is to raise $20,000 for HEF's Teacher Grant Program!

We need your participation to meet and exceed that goal for Hudsonville Public Schools students!

So what's the Spring SOARée?

The Spring Soarée was created last year as an intimate, spring-themed, adult-only social gathering and fundraiser held in the evening to expand awareness and financially support the Hudsonville Education Foundation teacher grant program.

The inaugural, in-person Spring SOARée silent auction raised over $14,000 in just two hours. It was amazing! It was so amazing that we knew we wanted to give the entire community a chance to be involved.

However, since there are only 200 tickets available for Spring SOARée on May 1, we decided to take the Spring SOARée auction online and invite everyone we know. So get ready and join the HEF Spring SOARée Online Auction fundraiser April 25 - 30, 2024, to bid on dozens of items, services and experiences for a great cause.

Don't worry; HEF is still hosting the amazing in-person Spring SOARée fundraiser finale on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, from 5:30pm - 8:30pm at Farmhaus Cider Co. Ten exclusive silent auction packages will only be available at the event.

The cost is $50 per person, and attendance is limited to 200 guests. Each ticket includes heavy hors d'oeuvres, two beverages of choice, a delightful evening of mingling and reserved silent auction items. Attendees must be at least 21 years old, and you must purchase event tickets in advance.

One more important thing. In addition to raising $20,000 for teacher grants, we need your help to fund a specific need at Hudsonville Public Schools. You're invited to direct your charitable dollars to this year's Fund-A-Need project by donating to the Early Childhood Center's Learning Lab fundraiser.

HEF is on a mission to raise an additional $5,000 for the Early Childhood Center to create a space for the district's youngest learners. The Early Childhood Center Learning Lab will provide a designated space for Hudsonville Public Schools' youngest learners the opportunity to develop and practice fundamental skills for classroom readiness through imaginative play.
