Last year, a HEF grant allowed Ms. Kelley DeGraaf to add alternative seating to her Hudsonville High School classroom. These seating options include tall tables and tall chairs, stability ball chairs, and cushioned oval chairs. Students benefit from alternative seating for various reasons including increased comfort, physical health, sensory input, and collaboration.
