Baldwin Middle School teacher, Mrs. Abby VanMalsen is passionate about her ELA students having access to books. As a result, some of her classroom footprint is taken up by bookcases. Last winter, the HEF was able to help her purchase new space saving tables and chairs for her classroom which frees up 30% more space for her students to collaborate, conference, practice kinesthetic learning, and, of course, read.
