Forest Grove Elementary
Using funds from the HEF, Mrs. Jessica Sterling was able to add gross motor and sensory tools to her classroom at Forest Grove Elementary. These items include wiggle stools, bucket seats, kinetic sand, stretch bands, and interlocking building straws. Sensory tools help students sustain attention to meet curriculum goals and help students who need to calm down in order to return to the classroom.
