With funds received from the HEF and the Ottawa Area Intermediate School District (OAISD), Mrs. Elisabeth Doerr was able to purchase books for her 21st Century Literacy classroom at Hudsonville High School. A book club focused on The Death and Life of the Great Lakes by Dan Egan engages students in a topic that is relevant to them and promotes problem-solving skills and student research.
