These pictures are from my student group at Jamestown using clay to create their Superflex or unthinkable characters of choice. While they do this….it’s AMAZING to hear and see kids who normally engage in parallel play asking to have a turn with the roller, using please and thank you, being encouraging of each other. Interestingly enough, the boy with the red clay is making the “unthinkable” worry wall because he has made the connection that worrying gets in his way at school. I’m very grateful for the gift of funds to buy the extra books and trust other SSW are finding it as engaging for students as I am!Bookmark the permalink.
